So I started work on my first pc, and I decided on parts that were of decent quality within a fair budget, but midway through I changed my build around to have higher quality parts in order to get the most out of it. After reworking the build I got worried that the monitor I selected isn't good enough to support the build I created, hence why I'm making this thread.
Here is my build at the moment:

Motherboard: ASRock X99 Extreme3 ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive + Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 8GB AMP! Edition Video Card (2-Way SLI)
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case

Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz Monitor

So what I'm asking for is whether or not the monitor I've selected is good enough to get the full effects of the rest of my build? If yes, then are there any cheaper monitors that I can use instead? If no, then what monitor should I get for this build? Along with any other tips you can give me about my build.
