Do I have a problem with my drive

I have a Seagate Barracuda 1 tb hard drive. I just completed my first build (yay!), but when I turn the computer on, the hard drive beeps twice.... I haven't loaded the OS yet, so I don't know if the two beeps are signaling a failure, or if the drive is OK. I want to find out if i have a bad drive

If you want to check the status of a drive prior to installing your OS, boot the system with live Linux media and check the smart status of the drive.
