Do I have a special 4790k??

As far a I saw people reach 4.6ghz at about 1.265 Core voltage but my results are the and the CPU is stable. (2Hours of OCCT, 10 rounds of intel burn test, 5hours of Bf4 and 3hours of video rendering) didint have any problems.

Seems like you lucked out on the silicon lottery with that chip. At least they aren't as unpredictable as the 4770k chips.

Pretty good chip, not exceptional, though. I saw a chip that hits 5.1 on 1.24 Volts. Crazy Chip there. Same chip hits 4.4 at 1.02 Volts.

My old 4770K would only do 4.3 with stability. So far my new 4790k is at 4.746 and if I knew what I was doing, I am pretty sure
I could bump it up more. I just found a new oc program yesterday called Intel XTU and its pretty nice ! I have no clue as to how
to read the results as one part says 4.8 on the bottom and 4.74? on top right ???
