[SOLVED] Do i have an AWARD or AMI bios ?

I have a Gigabyte z170x gaming 3.

In the manual it says :

SPEAK (Speaker, Orange): Connects to the speaker on the chassis front panel. The system reports system startup status by issuing a beep code. One single short beep will be heard if no problem is detected at system startup.

According to this page , 1 short beep meanining there is no problem indicates that the bios is an AWARD one.

But on the spec page it says :

Use of licensed AMI UEFI BIOS

This is contradictory.

Is my bios AWARD or AMI ?

You should rely on the info provided by the motherboard maker, i.e, the specs page for said motherboard.

BOOT to BIOS, see what it says there. If running windowsm use CPU-Z Motherboard tab.
