Do I have broken pins? LGA 1366

I have recently bought a second hand x58 Asus P6T motherboard and I’m wondering if my pins are bent or if this is normal for this type of board. I am awaiting a cpu to use it.

That isn't normal. You have bent pins. You might be able to fix it with a straight pin and a magnifying glass.

Absolutely not normal.

I think you should just assume they will. Unless you want to count which pins it is and find the socket definition there is no easy way.

It might be anything from absolutely not starting up, to working just fine.
Or, in between...those pins reference some function you don't encounter for a couple of months.
And tracking down a random fault, to identify it was those pins specifically....that will be a pain.

Yeah true, I’ll see what I can do about it. Let’s just hope everything goes well when I try to bend them back into place

I had to delve into my grandmothers sewing box for a needle that large and stout.
