Hey,

I currently have an I5-4440 @3.10GHz (socket LGA 1150),
8GB of RAM (2x4GB, don't have any spare slots),
I have a standard motherboard (MS-7848, made by MEDION)
and my current graphics card is a Nvidia geforce gtx770 2GB,
and I'm looking to upgrade to a MSI Geforce GTX 970 and I currently have Colugar Power 700 power supply (Total max output power = 700W)

Would this be a good built and do I have a good enough power supply ?

Solution
The 970 actually uses less power than the 770, so yes, your power supply would definitely be enough, since the 970 really only needs a 500W power supply. However, you might want to consider keeping your 770 for another few months and waiting for Nvidia to release Pascal, since the 970 is not a massive upgrade from the 770.

Well, I'm looking to get more fps on games like Arma 3, Fallout and such, by the end of this year I'll have a budget of +-400$ to get a new card.
What's the price range on the Pascal and the difference with GTX970
