Hi,
My current pc has a I9 9900K CPU, a RTX 2080 GPU and 2 NVME SSD units.

As far as i understant an I9 9900k contains 16 pci lines. The graphic card is using 8 and each NVME SSD is using 4x, so i would be using all the lines.

Could i add a second RTX 2080 considering that it would need 8x more lines?

Thanks

24 lanes total. 16 from cpu which the graphics card uses and additional 8 lanes via the motherboard chipset for your ssds (x4 lanes each) totalling x8 lanes. Your graphics card is using all 16 lanes from the cpu.

Two gpus will run at 8x each. Though these days sli isn't so popular.
