Recently while I was typing a paper my monitor glitched out and came up with the error screen and that it was trying to restart however the screen was glitchy and never got past 0%. I turned it off and unplugged it for about an hour and th e n plugged it back in. It lasted probably 20 minutes before doing it again so I unplugged it for a few daus and now nothing. The reason im posting here is because the pc itself turns on, the monitor does too and when I compleyely removed it from the pc it gives an error message that says it is connected but I cant get it out of standby because nothing I plug into the usbs that generallt turn it on when an action is dectected work. My keyboard and mouse work on other computers just not this one and it appears to be the only thing keeping the pc from turning on. Do I have a fried internal usb port? And what do I do to fix this?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS.

Be sure to include PSU: make, model, wattage, age, condition?

Has your computer ever been cleaned or undergone any drive maintenance?

Make and model monitor? How are the computer and monitor connected: VGA, HDMI, Display port?
