Do I have improper air circulation?

I have a corsair spec 02 case. In it I have 3 fans. One on the front, blowing air into the computer. Then I have one on the back, blowing air the opposite direction (out of the case). Then I have one on the top, also blowing air out of the case. My dad says it works well this way because the two that are blowing air outwards and sucking the air out that the CPU cooler is blowing. (They are very close to the CPU cooler and aimed that way).

To put it short: your dad is right.

Since hot air rises, case airflow rule of thumb is: front & bottom - intake; top & rear - exhaust.
