Hi everyone,

I'm considering upgrading some of my computer components, so I can play in high-end settings in games like Call of Duty titles, DayZ, and other modern titles.
However, I'm a bit muddled as to where to start and what I actually need.

I was considering purchasing an NVIDIA GeForce 750GT FI, but in that case would I need to update my processor/cooling system/power supply?
Do I absolutely NEED to get a new PC in order to play on full graphics?
My PC's specs are detailed below.

Thanks.

Intel Core i5-4440S 2.8GHz
Radeon R7 240 2GB DDR3
8GB RAM
2TB HDD
300W Power Supply

Solution
If you really want to be able to play on the best graphics possible, several things need to happen. Your cheapest option is always to build it yourself, though.
You'll need a newer motherboard with a newer processor socket to support the latest i5/i7 processors.
You need a new power supply. More powerful systems will need roughly 400-500 watts depending on parts chosen.
An R7 card will not get you the performance you're asking for. An R9 380 will be the best bet if you want to stick to AMD. Otherwise, if you can afford it, switch to an Nvidia GTX 970 or 1070 once it's released.
