I Recently bought two extra 500gb matching hard drives. My os is already installed on my main 60gb hd. I set up the the two recently bought hard drives for Silicon Image Sata RAID 1.
I was unable to find the raid(Hard Drive) under "My Computer". I then realizied i needed to format and name the RAID drive. I did this by opening up Computer Management - Storage - Disk Management.
My question is do i need to go back to the bios, disable the RAID 1 and then format BOTH hard drives through the computer management utility? Or is formating the one (RAID)drive enough?
