Do I have to install driver for my new Intel CPU?

I got a new motherboard and CPU together.

Had to do a fresh install of Windows 7 ultimate, I have installed the Nvidia graphic driver no problem.
But I cannot install the Intel CPU driver as it says 'Your computer does not meet the minimum requirement for installing the software', which means its only compatible with windows 10.
The last thing I want to do its upgrade to Windows 10

Is the driver really necessary? What if i don't install the driver, will it affect my gaming performance ?

Processor: INTEL Core i5 7600 3.5Ghz (4.1Ghz)
Motherboard: ASUS H110M-A/M.2
RAM: 16GB
Graphics: GTX 760 Direct CU II 4GB
Windows 7 Ultimate

Did you install the chipset drivers?

It's just the driver for the CPU's integrated graphics, so no it is not required especially if you aren't using the integrated graphics. I never installed mine.
