Ok so I got a new pc coming soon and I need to know if I need to get windows 10 on it or can I just put my Hard drive into the new pc
A new install is generally indicated.
While the current driver set may actually get you to the desktop, subtle (to blatant) errors can often arise as the drivers are not specific to your hardware. Remnants in the registry can also cause conflicts with some programs depending on what the program is expecting. Also, your hibernation system (if active) will be attempting to reactivate hardware that isn't there.
For reliability (in my experience, ymmv)
HGST (Hitachi Global Storage), and Western Digital Black drives.
Cheap drives....LOTS of options when shopping . Definitely DON'T get an ECO friendly drive. These will park park park the heads all day long and try to spin down.
