I will be installing the Arctic 34 Esport Duo pretty soon. My case/chassis is a Fractal R5 and my motherboard is a Asus H170 pro gaming.

Did anyone here using the same case and motherboard have to remove their motherboard to install a new CPU cooler?

I know there is a cut out in the side of the case where the motherboard would go. I just hope the bracket I need to install the coolers hardware on isn't covered up. I really don't want to remove the motherboard. I will if I have to.

Solution
You should be able to install the cooler without removing motherboard.

Cutout in the case allows accessing motherboard cpu area from both sides.
