[SOLVED] Do I have to update the Bios with my CPU and Mainboard combo?

Im thinking of getting a Ryzen 7 1700x with a A320 Pro VDS to upgrade my PC, do i have to update the Bios of the Mainboard for theese 2 to work together or can I just put them together and don't worry about it? Thanks in advance.

btw the mainboard is gonna be brand new, only the CPU is gonna be used.

They're both first gen ryzen parts so compatability shouldn't be an issue. Check the board documents on the manufacturer's website to confirm. But 300 series and 1xxx were launched together.

MSI A320M-PRO VD/S CPU Support List

The Ryzen 1700X is on the CPU Support List with the initial BIOS release (v20). There is no need to update the BIOS on this motherboard for this processor.
