Hi,
When building a new system, can I use an External CD/DVD drive to install an operating system onto the computer? I mean will the BIOS give me the option to load a DVD from a USB device on the GIGABYTE GA EX58 EXTREME motherboard?
I'm asking cause I don't want to have to buy an internal CD ROM drive.
This computer is only going to be for playing World of Warcraft and a few other games.
This is what I bought from newegg to build the system:
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-EX58-EXTREME LGA 1366 Intel X58
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66Ghz LGA 1366 Quad-Core Processor
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 275 896MB
RAM: Corsair 6GB DDR3 SDRAM 1333 Triple Channel Kit
Solid State Drive: OCZ 60GB SATA II MLC Internal
Monitor: Acer X233 23" 5ms HDMI Full 1080P Widescreen LCD
Power Supply: XCLIO Great Power 850W ATX 12V/ EPS 12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC
