Well over the past year I've been researching and looking for parts to make my first Desktop Gaming Computer. All that's left is a few more parts, everyone's opinions, and the money.
So far, the components I've gathered that I intend to use (which are close to my budget) are:
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 - $204
EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1, 80+ GOLD 650W, Fully Modular - $100
ASUS PRIME Z370-P LGA1151 DDR4 HDMI DVI M.2 Z370 ATX Motherboard with USB 3.1 for 8th Generation Intel Core Processors - $156
Intel BX80684I58400 8th Gen Core i5-8400 Processor - $190
MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1070 Ti ~~ $760

I also have some questions on some parts.
Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED CPU Cooler with PWM Fan - $30 - I'm currently thinking about getting this fan, but was wondering how many and/or should I change to a different fan?

Kingston Digital 240GB SSDNow UV400 SATA 3 2.5" ~$90 to $122 - I'm unsure if I would need the bundle kit or not.

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Compact ATX Case - $60 - This was the case I'm considering, but I would prefer to gut the current computer I have and use it's case, because its big. It's a CyberpowerPC that was discontinued, so I can't find the product anymore. It's dimensions are 7.5in x 17in x 20in. It currently has an AMD Radeon R7 200 series GPU in it, and by god is it terrible. So terrible that I can't find it on the internet.

Last but not least, I'm looking for a 1TB HardDrive. There are so many I don't know which ones to choose.

I already have a perfectly working Screen (1920x1080), Keyboard (Razer - Blackwidow), and Mouse (Razer).

If there is anything else that I may have skipped over, please tell me as I would hate to go buy all this stuff and then find out I'm missing key components.
Or if there's anything that can be greatly improved without increasing the cost too much more.

Thanks for your time!

i would change the psu for G2 or G3 (they are better quality units)
other great options are: seasonic focus plus / prime , corsair RMx / RMi .

get the gigabyte Z370 HD3P motherboard: mainly because it has better integrated audio and costs the same or less ,
and it has better VRM heatsinks as a bonus .

you don´t need a bundle kit (for 200R that is) : but i would suggest better SSD ( at least crucial MX500 250gb )
as for the mechanical harddrive just get the standard 3.5" 7200 rpm / 64 mb WD blue or seagate barracuda .

there are a lot of great cases out there at the moment :
phanteks P300/P400 tempered , fractal C TG , fractal meshify C , fractal R6 , NZXT S340 elite ...

Thanks for the reply! I've took into consideration the things you suggested and will be spending the next hour or two comparing what you suggested with what I have.
Although I've come to the conclusion I'll be using a 1TB Seagate Barracude, and keep the Corsair case so far.

Do you have any suggestions on the Fans?
