Do I have Z97X-Gaming 3 rev 1.0 or 1.1?

I can't find anywhere how I can figure out what rev I have on my MB. CPU-Z shows "x.x".

Is there any significant difference between them? I want to flash my BIOS to F7 but I want to be sure if I have 1.0 or 1.1.

Rev 1.0
Rev 1.1

I can't honestly see a noticeable difference there. 🙁

Hello... there will be some different chip or Something different they changed between versions, and you need the right BIO's for that model... I have seen the same BIO's used between MB version, because the revision had something else to do with something else, It is Typical in all electronics circuit boards with maintenance and repair, there will be version and model #'s painted/stickered to the board for future use and exact replacement.

Like Ironsounds suggested, look for the sticker on the backside of the motherboard, usually located near the CPU cooler cutout area.

Funnily enough, I did spot a teeny difference, the colour of the audio capacitors is gold on one of the pics and silver in the other. Also, on the right hand side of the mobo, the colour of the SATA ports are grey, rather than black on the other photo.

The strange thing is my Sata ports are more gray than black. And the audio capacitors is silver. Which is what made me think it was a light thing more than actual changes!

Thank you so much!

On my motherboard it is a gaming 3 with the gold capacitors and grey sata. and its says it is a rev 1.0 on the far left, stamped on the motherboard to the side of the lower set of gold capacitors under the amp up chip.
