[SOLVED] do i keep my microsoft office license after a factory reset

i'm a gamer and i have some performance issues lately with my pc and i'm thinking about factory resetting it, but i'm wondering if i keep my microsoft office lisence that i bought after the reset or not, or do i need to do certain things to keep it after the reset.
and also if you guys have tips about resetting a pc or how to properly reset a pc and things to do after resetting a pc please let me know and thank you in advance.

Make sure you have the product key for older versions. For newer versions. Make sure it is registered to your Microsoft account by finding your license on the Microsoft account page.

Once you are sure you have the license info. You can do a clean install and reinstall office.

A new version of Office, like maybe 2019, would probably be linked to your MS account.
Older ones, no.

Yes, you'll be fine, as long as you have the product key. I've been using the same copy of Office that I got from the workplace on 4 different PC over the years, no problem at all
