[SOLVED] Do I lose fps if I play a 16:9 game on a 3440x1440 (21:9) monitor compared to if I play the same game a on 2560x1440 (16:9) monitor?

I was just wondering if playing a 16:9 game on a 21:9 (3440x1440) monitor with black bars on the sides would lead to lower fps compared to if I just played the same game on a 16:9 (2560x1440) monitor.

Any answers are much appreciated!

If the game is set to run at 2560x1440, in the game options, there should be no difference.
