I have a M5A99X EVO R2.0 motherboard with a stable 4.7GHz CPU OC. If I update my board's BIOS, the settings will go back to default. But do I lose the OC profiles stored in BIOS as well? Or can I get my OC back by loading the stored profile?

Thank you. I can't believe I didn't see this reply until now! So just to confirm... updating the BIOS doesn't affect the stored OC profiles that are also in BIOS? Are they somewhere else?

Neither rmy gigabyte 970 board or my asrock b350 board lost oc profiles when updating the bios.

That said, is there not an option to save the profiles to usb or hard drive (there should be) just in case.what board is it exactly?

The on in question is an Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0
I'll have to check if it has an option to save the BIOS when I get back on it again. Thanks.
