Question Do I need 144htz monitor if am not a fps player

So am kind of stuck. At the moment I have 3x 24inch 1080p monitors and there powered by a rezen 5 1600 and a evga 1070 superclocked now the question is if I was to buy a 1440p monitor would I need it to be 144hertz as I don't do fps shooter, manly single player space games , the odd gun game. Thanks.

I recently purchased a 75Hz 1440p 32" freesync monitor, and I'm really pleased with it. Mainly play racing games.
So I would say no you don't have to purchase a 144hz screen, and your gfx card would probably have a hard time generating 144 FPS@1440p.

I'd go so far as to say you don't need a 144Hz monitor even if you ARE a fps player.
