I'm building a budget PC so I could do some light gaming on somewhat demanding games like warframe. I'm trying to save money, so I'm wanting to get a 480 watt PSU, Do I need bigger, or smaller, If I can use smaller, how much could I lower it so to an amount where its about enough?
Power Usage: 238 watts

Solution
With that GTX 750, you could even squeek by with a 300W PSU. It really isn't about the total watts. It is about the watts/amps of the +12V rail since that does all the heavy work in the PC.
But stay away from Logisys PSUs.

Keep in mind that running a power supply at high loads for long periods of time will shorten its lifespan and reduce efficiency. Ideally you only want to use 50-60% of your power supply's capacity, only going over that during extreme times of stress or benchmarks that aren't reflective of actual PC use.

1) They don't make their own PSUs. They just market them with their brand name on them
2) Cooler Master V series 700, 850, 1kW... Cooler Master Ultimate/UCP, VSM 750... Cooler Master GX 80 Plus 450W, Real Power Pro >greater than 800 watt are all tier 1 and tier 2 PSUs. Cooler Master Real Power Pro <less than 800 watt, iGreen, and Silent (and gold) Pro are good quality tier 3 PSUs.

Looked up the v700 and it actually looks pretty solid. I'm surprised it's only tier 3, so I'll stand corrected.

Take a look at corsair, they have good psu at gold standard too so decent efficiency and you can rely on one of them at 50-60% load, that will keep your rig nice and healthy look at RM550 for fully modular otherwise the CM550
