I have 2 Questions.

Here's the link to the build I have so far.

Question 1.) Is there any reason to have 64 GB of ram in a Gaming Rig? I plan to stream and do some editing and rendering of videos recorded, on an Avermedia Live Gamer HD capture card. Will I get the same performance out of 32GB of ram, with 32GB going unused?

Question 2.) pcpartpicker is saying the wattage of the machine will be around 700 watts. Would I be ok going with a 1000 Watt PSU? Reason I ask, is that someone told me its recommended that you double the Wattage of the machine to avoid any performance issue if there is a fluctuation of power coming from the supply. but doing so would require me to put in a larger circuit in my circuit breaker to handle the load of a 1500w PSU. Is this really necessary?

you do not need 64 gb of ram ...16gb is plenty enough for gaming/editing/streaming
1000W psu is enough with a high quality one
why this pc case? and thoses fans? take a corsair 750D thats it..
why this cpu cooler? take the best with phantek/noctua/cryorig instead
your mobo is a way too much overkill 450$ ???

32GB is already excellent even for 3D rendering. Anything that is more than 24GB will have no benefit on editing and rendering on Premier and After Effects ""EVEN ON 4K"" 16 GB is the sweet spot.

a video for your question https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajyzZ-zaq0o

NOT double, but ((just above on)) ((what the requirement is + spare)). 900++watts is perfect. unless you sport a GTX Titan on 2 way SLI with overclock.

And another for your PSU curiosity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKnfmeuOmXc

PS: Remember that these company would always want you to spend on the bigger better more expensive stuff, and that means profit for them. Dont believe everything the smiling cheesy salesman say, get smart and outsmart. oh and get watercooling.

850w psu will be on the border ..it will run as 70 to 80% of is power all the time ..so more hot
get a 1000W you can have a good price with evga
