Do i need a anti-static band?

guys i have all the parts ready to assemble my first pc.

i am concerned that do i need anti static wrist band?
i will not be assembling the pc on a carpet but on bare marble floor. i will be bare foot too. will this work?

Just ground yourself before you begin and don't wear any synthetic clothing, you'll be fine.

You don't need an anti-static wrist band. Just keep touching the exposed metal of your case to ground yourself.

And building area doesn't matter. I've built on carpet before with no ill effects, so a marble floor will be fine.
