Specs-
Motherboard: Asrock B350 Pro
Memory: GeIL SUPER LUCE 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000
GPU: PNY gtx 1070
CPU Cooler: MasterLiquid Lite 120
& five 150mm fans with LED.

The PSU powering up my computer is a Rosewill arc 650W

Long story short I was able to overclock my ryzen 5 to 3.875ghz@1.375v and my ram to only 2400mhz@1.34v.

However, here is where my question comes in place. When I try to bump my cpu to 3.9ghz@1.375v and ram to 2400mhz@1.34v, my computer would turn on (led lights, fans etc) but my monitor's display won't get a signal. The same would happen if I bump my ram to 2900mhz@1.34v and cpu to 3.875ghz@1.375v.

From here I would have to turn it on and off and on (5-8 times) until my monitor gets a signal. In a few cases, it manages to boot up the first time. Anyways, once I'm in Windows, I would test it with Cinebench and stressing it confirming that it is indeed working under those changed oc settings. As of right now, I'm planning to change my psu but I want to really want to know that if there's a possibility that my psu is the problem. I also updated the bios.

Any help or suggestions please. Sorry I'm not much of a tech dude 🙁

The arc is definitely mediocre quality but I highly doubt it has anything to do with failed overclock.

Is that board the pro 4 (I don't know of a straight pro board)

If so are you on the latest bios revision 3 (or at least 2.60 minimum)
If not you should be , memory speeds are much more stable on those revisions.

I'd get a better PSU. The heart of every build is the PSU, and Rosewill is hot garbage. SeaSonic, Corsair, EVGA, all have outstanding PSUs.
