Question Do i need a better supply or its enough ?

Heres my pc requiments
Ryzen 5 1400
8 gb ram 2133mhz
Samsung evo 840 120 gb ssd

and the graphics card is amd radeon hd 5670 1gb (64 watt tdp)

my power supply:

I wanted to upgrade my graphics card to a way better graphics card could someone help me with it ? which card i can get maximum like whats the limit ? should i buy a better psu (in my mind i was planning to buy gtx 960 or rx 470)

Unfortunately, with the current pandemic, even the lower-priced PSUs that were considered reasonably good have gotten more expensive. Also unfortunate is the fact that bad ones seem to be far too readily available.

The first hint you should look for is how much power is available on the 12V rails - if it's not equal to, or at least fairly close to the power rating of the PSU itself, then there's a good chance you should avoid it.


A PSU is a safety device. Using a poor-quality one is taking a gamble on doing damage to your PC components.
