I recently built a new computer and reused a Corsair VX550 from my old computer.

I'm not having any problems so far but I think I may be on the edge of needing one because I'm getting voltage errors when trying to overclock any further using the Gigabyte Smart 6 overclock program.

I7 860 OC'd to 3.3ghz
8 gigs Corsair ram
3 Seagate internal HDD
DVD-RW
GTX260 Core 216
Antec 900 case with all included fans hooked up.

What do you think?

Your current PSU is of excellent quality.
With your current build, it is more than powerful enough.

Perhaps the issue is with your overclocking software?
I personally have never had good luck with software overclocking.
Try manually overclocking through the BIOS and see if this helps.

You shouldn't rely on overclocking software to determine power supply voltage's.
Do like the outlaw said and overclock thru the bios.

I'm waiting to see what Nvidia's Fermi lineup is like.

I've been looking at the 5850 a lot as well.

No Xfire or SLI. My motherboard's 2nd pci slot is 4x so that's a waste.
