Do I need a Capture Card for PC Streaming and Recording?

I've been streaming and recording gameplay videos for about 3 months now. Right now, using OBS I am able to stream and record at 2560x1440 at 50fps. I was just wondering, will it be beneficial for me to purchase a capture card? I was looking at getting the Elgato 4K60.

My PC specs/set up is:
Intel i7-7700K
ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
32GB RAM
2 ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q (2560x1440 @ 165Hz)

TIA :)

This is actually one method that I'm thinking of doing - but I'm not yet into being 100% dedicated to streaming. Maybe sometime in the future I'll look to get this. :)

A capture card is for capturing footage from one PC and then exporting it to another.

So if you are just going to use your PC for streaming and gaming it will have no function.
