[SOLVED] do i need a certain type of sli bridge or can i use any?

im seriously so dumb when it comes to pc's so please bare with me im a dummy.. i have a z390 gaming plus.. im trying to sli two crappy gtx 950s.. i need to order a bridge cord tho i already have both gpu's in my pc... i heard sometimes u get one with ur MB and GPU but i lost mine or didn't, thanks in advance and i appreciate any info and help with my problem and any further info on SLI i may need to know

There's no specialty required besides length. Measure and any sli connector close to that length will do.

Just one thing though, can you link us to the product page please because i think that board only supports crossfire and not sli.

To start, you will gain only little performance and in game lots of micro stutters. What is the intend for the pc?

Hard to say about some Amazon review somewhere from some random person we can't read.

The board doesn't explicitly support SLI, just Crossfire.

The larger problem is there's no real reason to run cards in SLI as it's not 2011.

The 2nd slot runs a X4 speed so no SLI.

Fair enough if you just wanted to experiment and tinker but there's hardly any practical use these days, not if gaming is the plan. Multiple gpu support in games is becoming less and less.

Lets keep things a bit more civil here.

That board does not support SLI as per its specs, and you have yet to indicate you play any games that support SLI in the first place.
