Do I need a CPU cooler? If so, which one?

My future PC will include an FX 8350 as the CPU and an R9 280X as its GPU.

Do I need to worry about overclocking/heat for these components?

Which cooler should I get with a budget no higher than $50?

Solution
The FX-8350 overclock like butter. I would recommended doing that. It's a great system your building there. So yes. A hyper 212 evo or a corsair h100i if your case supports it (highly recommend it). If you need more help, just ask me :D

How far in the future? Maybe by the time you're ready the recommendations will change. Also the case you will put it in matters. Some cases can't take huge coolers. Some people are more concerned with noise and all these factors factor into the decision-making process.

For many here the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO at $30 is the product of choice.

If you want to overclock, it is best to get an aftermarket cooler, as it will get quite hot. As Karsten75 said, a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo will to the job well, and at a cheap price
