Do I need a CPU cooler?

I am looking to build this bad girl right here.

I do not intend to overclock at all. So will the stock CPU cooler be sufficent? or should I spend the extra money just in case?

As a side note I will be using this for gaming at 1920x1080.

Any stock cooler is fine @ stock speeds. I don't even need to click on the link to know that.

For most people the stock cooler should be fine.

You should only need to buy a cooler if you want lower temps, quieter fan, or both. I'm in the "both" camp so even if I do not overclock I will still drop in a massive heatsink.

Yes the stock cooler will be fine @ stock speeds. It's just a bit loud. You don't need a Z77 motherboard though. You could save money and get a B75 if you're not going to overclock.

Any time you don't plan on overclocking, the stock cooler provided with CPUs will be sufficient. Whether you are tolerant of its sonic profile is another matter. I personally dislike the droning of stock Intel heatsinks compared to the quiet Cougar fans I use on all aftermarket coolers I purchase.
