Do I need a Graphics Tablet?

Before I go out and buy an actual graphics tablet for drawing I would like to know if my ASUS ZenPad 10 Z300M is good enough if I buy a stylus pen to go with it?

Or would I be better getting an actual graphics tablet?

Nobody can tell you what is going to work well for you.
Sure a graphics tablet is going to most likely be "better". But how much better depends on how well you are using your current setup.

Staples list my tablet as a graphics tablet and advises the ASUS Z-Stylus with it. But I am looking at the rather blunt ends of the pens and wonder if I can really draw fine details with it?

It would be a matter of practice with that I would say, since the actual detail is on the tablet in use, not the pen.

If you need pressure sensitivity for doing extreme high quality digital artwork, or really want to get into it, then a graphics tablet will suit you better. If you want to do some sketches or doodles then a pen for your tablet should be fine. A drawing tablet will better suit you into the future, though it's your choice!
