[SOLVED] Do I need a hard drive if I’m putting a 1TB M.2 stick in?

I’ve been away from technology for a while so the M.2 is totally new to me. My question is can I just run the 1TB M.2 or do I need another hard drive? It’s a strange and stupid question just I don’t know.

You don't need a separate hard drive, since the m.2 ssd is already storing data. It is just another form of a drive.
