Hi guys

Before I get into it this is the computer I’m going for, customising it to fit what I need

I live in university housing therefore the wifi connection is wireless. If you go into the motherboard option, does this mean I’ll have to upgrade to the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi Motherboard so I can connect wirelessly? Or am I better off sticking with Ethernet? Or is it good to have both?

Solution
You can add a pci card to almost any system if you want a internal wifi. You can also use USB devices.

I guess it will come down to costs. I would not buy a on board wifi since you can not upgrade it. The new so called wifi6 is just coming out and in a couple years will likely be what everything uses.

In general if you can use a ethernet connection it will always be better than any wifi connection.

A bit more secure since you don't translate your signal into the air. A wifi router acts like a hardware firewall, though. But I'm for ethernet, indeed.

You have Seagate 3TB there, oh. With such budget, you'll probably want a 5-year warranty HDD.
