Do i need a new gpu or cpu ?

So ive had my pc for about 3 years and am in need of an upgrade because of frequent fps drops.

My gpu: Nvidia gtx 750 (not a ti, people have made that mistake)

My cpu: Intel core i7 4771

My ram: 4GB DDR3

What games do you play? The most probable reason for the frequent fps drops is the RAM. 4gb is no longer enough, so adding another 4gb could be a quick fix for you

Thanks for the help, im going to ask for a nvidia gtx 1060 8 gb this christmas and don't rly know waht type of ram i should get so if u could by any chance give me a reccomendation that would rly make my day 😀

Same type as you have already.
DDR3 16GB (probably 1600mhz).
