Do I need a new monitor

Hi there,

I currently have the following build.

i7 4790k
32gb DDR 3 Hyper fury x (overkill i know)
128gb SSD
MSI NVIDIA GTX 970 Gaming Twin Frozr
Mod 1150 ASUS Z97 Maximus VII Hero motherboard


Question is... do I need to upgrade my monitors or a even better question.. would the difference be worth the upgrade?

Current monitors are.

Packard bell Maestro 242DX
LG 22EB23

How much difference would they make to my view?

If you have the budget for it why not? I don't see why you deprive that awesome build with Crappy monitors.
The reason to upgrade is enhance your gaming performance and with the resolution of these monitors you are straining your eyes looking at the screen because thing aren't as clear. You will also see a big difference between 60HZ and 144HZ you will never go back to 60HZ. I know I didn't believe it when played on my 1068X768 Monitor but it is definitely worth it.
