I'm currently running with an AMD A10-7890K Radeon R7 and want to upgrade to a Ryzen 3700x. Do I need to upgrade my motherboard or can I just update the BIOS?

You're basically building a whole new system.

yup. ur gonna need new ram, new mobo and new cpu. for an AM4 mobo, i reccomend an MSI B450 or B550 Gaming plus max.

for ram, G.SKILL RIPJAWS is really good and budget friendly as well.

Ideally you should list all your current specs as you will need a GPU and probably a new PSU besides the CPU, MOBO, RAM.
