Do i need a new power supply for this?

i will be buying new parts for my PC:
i7 6700k ,

Asus Dual GTX1060 ,

MSI X99A Sli Plus USB 3.1 Motherboard ,

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB Desktop Memory Kit.

I currently have a XFX 500W powersupply so do i need to upgrade to a 600W or even a 700W?

The 6700k will not work on an X99 motherboard.

Should you get a correct motherboard for it (Z170/Z270) then yes your 500w PSU is more than enough. Do you know the exact model of XFX 500w it is?

the i7 6700k is an LGA 1151 CPU not LGA 2011. If you wanted an LGA 2011 i7 you need the 5820k, 6800k, 6850k, 6900k, etc.

That PSU is a really good one, its 550w gold rated actually. Its more than enough.

you don't need a crazy motherboard, that CPU works well on an ASUS Z170M-PLUS but if you want to get the fancy board you can.

GTX 1080 pairs perfectly with it.
