Do I need a new PSU?

Remember that there will be other components as well: GPU, memory, disk drives, case fans, etc..

The best approach is to find and add up the power demands of all expected components. Then add some additional margin for growth.

There are several online sites that will help work through that process. Look for sites that are neutral with respect trying to sell you something. Probably best to try a couple of calculators and work towards some common result.

And take a look at this link from within this forum. Good starting point.

Not intending to overclock, I'd like my CPU to last as long as it can, but if I dont, is 300W enough? Or would I need 400W

It's zoostorm and came stock with my PC, but I've never had problems with it and it's pretty quiet. So 300W is enough for the cooler, 8GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, DDR3/4, the CPU, GPU and motherboard?
