So I'm gonna build my friend a pc and the case (Silentiumpc Signum SG1X TG RGB) includes 4 RGB fans and a hub. The motherboard (MSI B450M Pro-M2 Max) only has one Sytsem Fan header and one led header.
What I want to know is, do I need a mobo with more fan headers, like the MSI B450-A Pro Max, or not.

The Case: https://www.silentiumpc.com/en/product/signum-sg1x-tg-rgb/
The B450M Pro-M2 Max: https://de.msi.com/Motherboard/B450M-PRO-M2-MAX
The B450-A Pro Max: https://de.msi.com/Motherboard/B450-A-PRO-MAX

Thanks

More fan headers on the motherboard isn't the reason to change it as you can use a fan controller to control almost as many fans as you want. But the a-pro-max has a heatsink on the VRM FET's and that's going to be a much better reason.

I would also pick a new case. That one looks to have poor airflow with almost complete blockage of the front fans.

if you already bought that case, too late but the airflow not be as good as mesh front panel and well theres no filtration at all ,, so that thing will get dusty inside which means frequent cleaning ( and not to mention why did they name thier fans corona? ) but to your question you just need a fan controller with a sata power input and a single fan header input , i would not advise just a fan input or splitter hub because running all those fans on the motherboard headers power could shorten the life span of the fan header.

I wouldn't get stuck on a old mobo model... Get a B550, the B550 M Pro4 is pretty decent and affordable.
