Hello friends,
I got a new motherboard ASUS TUF B450M-PRO GAMING, which has these features :
Realtek® ALC S1200A 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC
Audio Feature :
- Exclusive DTS Custom for GAMING Headsets.

I find audio from this new board an upgrade from my earlier AALC 892, in terms of my sound quality, a substantial one. Now I have a headphone SONY MDR-XB950. Question is, do I need to buy a dts headphone i.e. headphone -X(or something similar) to take full advantage of dts quality? and second question is that if I need to buy dts codecs along with that too?

Solution
Honestly, it's just a marketing gimmick, you're good to go with any analog headset on the platform, provided you're plugged in using the analog audio ports on the motherboard.
