Do I need a power supply?

I am building a desktop with the following config:

Intel i5 4430

ASUS H87 Pro Motherboard

Corsair Vengeance (1 * 8GB) RAM

Basically, I am a stock trader and want a desktop to set up 4 monitors simultaneously. I am not sure whether I would need a separate graphic card so have ordered the items listed above for now.

Would request if anyone can help me understand whether I would need a separate power supply unit?

You need one Power supply unit for your desktop. If you want to set up 4 monitors then you need as many ports in the first place. you will not need a seperate PSU as monitor's power cables are plugged separately

Thank you for your reply.. Regarding the power supply I was wondering whether a 500 W PSU would suffice?

Yes 500w is more than enough since you want to buy a dedicate GPU.
