[SOLVED] Do I need a Wi-Fi adapter?

I have an Eero mesh network at home I just got a new gigabyte ultra motherboard. It has Wi-Fi built in but will a Wi-Fi adapter improve my internet connection? Is it necessary or redundant? Should I just use an Ethernet cable instead for the best connection?

Ethernet is ALWAYS the best connection if possible.

Some WiFi add-in cards may get better signal, but it may be hard to know before buying.

Have you tried the built-in wifi yet?

You should be fine with the WiFi adapter bundled with your board.

It worked well but then stopped working on Saturday night. It would connect then disconnect. It was very frustrating. It seems to be only temporary and has been fine for three days but thought that that the adapter would improve the connection.
