Do I need a wireless adapter card?

I'm assuming I will need a wireless card as I can't see that there is one built in but I'm not sure. What should I look for in a wireless adapter and how will I know it'll fit with my video card, etc.?

It does not have one, you will need one.

You can put it in the bottom x16 slot if you want PCIe (it doesn't matter if it's a PCiex1 card) or you can get a USB connected WIFI device and not have it on the board at all.

There's no built-in Wifi on that board.

For a Wifi adapter, you have options.
PCIe, or USB.

Good quality USB adapters these days are actually pretty good - so I wouldn't jump to PCIe as a necessity.....although it is generally a little more stable.

You have available PCIe/PCI slots - in addition to the x16 slot for your GPU. So options are open.

I'd look for Wireless AC support. If your router is still N, it's compatible too.

Usually these ASUS adapters are on sale for $30-$40. Right now they're at full price though.

Why do you assume that?
Desktop computers usually use wired ethernet for internet connectivity. Don't you have ethernet connection available?
