Do I need better PSU for my GPU?

I recently upgraded my old computer and have been receiving some issues when in game. Basically, my computer just crashes. I either have to hard reboot or it will just turn itself off and restart right away.

Im wondering if the issue may be because my PSU cannot handle everything. That's the only thing I can think of. When I upgraded my computer I added a new CPU fan, new motherboard, WiFi card and got a new case.

I run my operating system on a 120GB Kingston SSD and install most programmes and all games to my 1TB Samsung SSD. On my old set up I ran everything off of my Samsung SSD and never really used my Kingston SSD. I don't know if this would make a difference.

My computer spec's are -
ASUS STRIX Z270F
Nvidia GeForce GTX 980Ti
Intel i7-6700K
Cooler Master Hyper 212X
EVGA 700w B1
Corsair Graphite Series 760T v2
Kingston 120 gb SSD
Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB
TSSTcorp CD DVD drive
ASUS AC1300

Could the problem be my PSU isn't powerful enough or is it something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
Even though your 980ti is a very demanding GPU, may I also add fairly inefficient I presume that your PSU may handle it rather well. However I do think that your PSU may not be suited for the job, with a demanding CPU like that I would say maybe a 750 or 800 (remember they are also graded on quality). I did run into a similar problem using a cheap 500 watt to run my setup, which by the way was way weaker than yours.

I've been monitoring it on a few games. My min temp was 33 for most and a max of 57.

Solution
Your PSU is definitely capable of giving enough juice to your components.
I don't believe your PSU is the problem here, but it wouldn't hurt to try a known good one and test it.

The I7 6700k should go up to about 83 watts, while your gpu uses a maximum of 250w.
It would be very hard for a build like this to go over 700 unless it was an sli,

Hmm okay. Do you think the Corsair RM750i is a good power supply to test out?

Okay, thank you. What PSU would you suggest? I have been looking at the Corsair RM750i.

I'll have a try this weekend as I have brought a Corsair RM750i which should allow me to try a 2 line set up.

I've recently downloaded MSI afterburner just to see what was going on with my GPU. While in-game I lost connection to the GPU. It only reconnected once I rebooted.

Is this another indicator that this is a PSU problem or could the problem be my GPU instead?

Its PCIE. The motherboard and CPU fan are also new along with the case but I don't think these might be the cause of the problem. But I could be wrong.
