Do I need case fans, fan controllers or thermal compound?

I would get at least one front intake fan.

Fan Support: FRONT, 2 X 120mm
REAR, 1 X 120mm @ 1200rpm (included)
TOP, 2 X 120/140mm (1x 140mm included)
BOTTOM, 1 x 120mm

You don't need thermal compound it should come pre-applied.

So if I understand it correctly, I should get one fan in the front. That's all I need. I want to keep the price as low as possible. I don't need the SATA hub if I'm buying only 1 fan, right?
