Well do I?
I've chosen this drive based on votes in my poll - Thanks.
But will I need any form of cooling. I've got 6 case fans but I only use them during games.
Thanks

Cooler is better, but you should also be fine without extra cooling.

not expecially.

standard diffusion and casefan induced airflow will be quiet sufficient.

if you have your drives packed together in a stagnant part of the case then heat may be an issue. but not usually.

I agree. My WD JB's run cooler than my IBM 60GXP (rip) did.

Agreed X2,

Just be carefull and check how the fans in your case are passing the air in and you, in some cases i had my fans configured wrong and heat was being distributed back on to my hdd/vid/mobob ect...

more is better sometimes.

If your worried just pipe in some refigeration :)
