Do I need do a fresh reinstall of Windows 8.1 for my new motherboard?

I was upgrading motherboards, but want to keep the same HDD. Do I just need to do a complete reinstall on Win 8.1 using the "remove everything and reinstall windows" option? After that i wipe the HDD, will it still have Win 8.1 on it? Can I reuse the same Product key?

u will need to get a new product key if it is oem if it is not then u can reuse the key
