I am building my first PC with a budget of $1000. I would like to purchase the MSI B250 PC Mate motherboard and a Deepcool Tesseract SW ATX Mid Tower Case. The motherboard has two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, and lots of ports that my case doesn't have (it only has 2 in total).

tl;dr Do I need do find a case that matches my motherboard's I/O perfectly?

Solution

When you get the case you just plug the case cables into the motherboard and all the usbs will work.

So if I want to use a USB I have to get inside my case?
